Fees and Terms

I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation as an opportunity for me to share how I work and answer any of your questions for you to decide whether you feel therapy with me is right for you.

Individual sessions 

All individual counselling sessions following initial consultation are 50 minutes.

My standard fee for these sessions is £75.

Face-to-face sessions are held at my practice in Twyford, Winchester, but telephone and zoom appointments are also welcome and available. I also offer 'walk and talk' therapy in and around Twyford.  

Couples / relationship counselling

Couples / relationship counselling sessions are 60 or 90 minutes depending on your needs.  

Couples / relationship sessions are face-to-face at my practice or online via zoom.  

Payment

All fees are payable in advance or at the beginning of each session via BACS transfer or cash. All fees are reviewed annually from the date of our first session and often but not always increased in line with inflation.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a session I request that you let me know via phone, email or text as soon as possible.  If you cancel a session with less than 48 hours notice or if you do not attend with no notice given, the full fee will be payable before the next session, except in exceptional circumstances.  

In the rare event that I am unable to attend an agreed session or an unforeseen circumstance prevents me from doing so, I will contact you as soon as possible and, where possible, will endeavour to re-arrange your appointment for an alternative time that week.

Please note that if introductory sessions are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, rescheduling will be at a fee of £40.

Late arrivals

If you are delayed for any reason, we will still need to finish on time and the full fee will apply.  If you are over 20 minutes late for a session, we will not be able to conduct our session in a safe manner and therefore the session will not be able to go ahead and you will still be charged the full amount for that session.
